Tetra Shaylice Shockley
Miss Delaware USA 2025
Tetra Shaylice Shockley is an accomplished attorney licensed in both Delaware and New Jersey. After serving as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware, she co-founded Benton & Shockley Law, P.A., where she currently focuses on family law and personal injury cases. Outside of her legal work, Tetra is dedicated to community service. She serves as the Vice President of the Kent County Bar Association, is a member of the Terry Carey Inns of Court, and plays a key role in holding judges accountable through her involvement with Delaware’s Preliminary Investigatory Committee. Additionally, she is a member of the Delaware Board of Bar Examiners and was appointed to the Board of Trustees at her alma mater, Delaware State University. Tetra holds three degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from DSU, an MBA in Executive Leadership from Wesley College, and a Juris Doctorate from Widener Delaware Law. In 2017, she published her debut book, *The Solitaire: Set Aside. Set Apart. Set Free.*, which aims to inspire others to grow through their challenges. She is also the founder of “You Are the Crown,” a nonprofit organization that helps girls and women discover their identity, voice, and purpose, empowering them to make a positive impact in the world. A three-time Mrs. Delaware America (2016, 2021, 2024), Tetra exemplifies how brains, beauty, and boldness can coexist harmoniously. Her proudest titles are Wife and Mother. She and her husband Jerome are raising two wonderful children, Tierra and Jaden, along with their affectionate Cavapoo, Jazzy. Tetra is passionate about serving her community and her faith. She is currently a Minister in Training at The Family Church in Voorhees, NJ, and she approaches every endeavor with love, integrity, and purpose.

Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA are available for approved appearances across the state of Delaware. We are pleased to support a wide variety of functions; including our armed forces, youth, local businesses, charities, and other community events. Our titleholders are skilled public speakers with emphasis on education, service and self-value. Miss Delaware USA and Miss Delaware Teen USA are brand ambassadors available for special appearances, autograph sessions, and photo sessions.
Miss Delaware USA & Miss Delaware Teen USA are invited to numerous events throughout the year. We are appreciative of each request to serve the community however; due to high demand, we are unable to meet all requests.
