Miss Delaware Teen USA 2026
Sydney Hayden is a proud, born-and-raised Delawarean and the reigning Miss Delaware Teen USA. A rising senior in high school, she has distinguished herself through academic excellence, athletic achievement, and a deep commitment to serving her community. As a member of the National Honor Society and a competitive soccer player, Sydney has developed the discipline, perseverance, and leadership skills that define her both on and off the field.
Inspired by a passion for science, innovation, and helping others, Sydney aspires to become a biomedical engineer, where she hopes to design advanced prosthetic devices that empower individuals to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Her ambition reflects a desire to combine cutting-edge technology with compassion, creating meaningful solutions that improve quality of life for others.
Service has always been at the heart of Sydney’s journey. She has dedicated countless hours to giving back through volunteer work with the Delaware Food Bank as a member of her school’s Chick-fil-A Leadership Club, tutoring fellow students through the National Honor Society, and reading to young children in her school’s Early Education Center. Whether mentoring peers or supporting families in need, Sydney believes that even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact within a community.
Committed to inspiring the next generation, Sydney founded Kick It Into Confidence, an initiative that uses soccer as a platform to help young girls develop confidence, resilience, leadership, teamwork, and a positive sense of self. Through mentorship, skill-building activities, and encouragement, the program empowers participants to step outside their comfort zones and recognize their own potential both on and off the field.
As Miss Delaware Teen USA, Sydney is honored to serve as an ambassador for the First State, using her platform to encourage young people to pursue their dreams with courage, embrace new opportunities, and lead with authenticity and confidence. She is proud to represent Delaware while demonstrating that true leadership begins with compassion, determination, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Appearance Request
Miss DE USA and Miss DE Teen USA are available for approved appearances across the state of Delaware. We are pleased to support a wide variety of functions; including our armed forces, youth, local businesses, charities, and other community events. Our titleholders are skilled public speakers with emphasis on education, service and self-value. Miss DE USA and Miss DE Teen USA are brand ambassadors available for special appearances, autograph sessions, and photo sessions.
Miss DE USA & Miss DE Teen USA are invited to numerous events throughout the year. We are appreciative of each request to serve the community however; due to high demand, we are unable to meet all requests. The more advanced notice you can provide; the greater opportunity we have to fulfill the request.
